Title	The Little Captain
Issue	Some of the attitudes in the book are dated, needing discussion in many classes. For example, one child is labeled 'Podgy', Marinka, the only girl, does all the cooking, and there are robbers at an oasis in a desert setting. These aspects might be considered stereotypical or problematic by modern readers.
