What are Barrel Jeans? Barrel Jeans are high-waisted jeans with a trendy wide leg that tapers at the ankle. Also known as balloon jeans, Barrel Jeans usually have a shorter, cropped length that makes them a versatile choice in any season. Barrel Jeans are a fresh approach to your daily denim.

What body type do Barrel Jeans flatter? While Barrel Jeans work great for apple body shapes, they are truly a good choice for any body type. The more fitted shape on top and the narrow ankle balances out the wider leg silhouette to create a fresh look that easily flatters your figure and is comfortable too.

How do you wear Barrel Jeans? Play on the volume of your Barrel Jeans. Walmart recommends pairing Barrel Jeans with an oversized shirt layered with a fitted vest and chunky boots to create an on-point OOTD. Or try your Barrel Jeans with a curve-hugging shirt and a slightly oversized blazer for a polished casual look or simply slip your Barrel Jeans on with a chunky turtleneck and sneakers. In other words, just about anything goes with these shape-shifting jeans. Style Tip: We love Barrel Jeans with high-tops or booties, as the cropped length playfully skims the top of your shoes.
